Web wallet (custodial)
Important. This optional wallet is for visitors who cannot or do not want to install a browser extension (for example on mobile). RootRecord generates a Solana keypair and stores the seed encrypted on our servers. That is custodial — not the same as a self-custody wallet where only you hold the keys.
- Do not use this as your primary place to store value long term.
- For anything serious, use a self-custodial wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Jupiter, etc.) and only small amounts here if you use web wallet at all.
- Signing Solana transactions from this account on the tools site still requires you to be signed in here; full “fallback signer” integration with solana.rootrecord.info is rolling out next.

Deleting your account permanently removes your RootRecord portal profile and any server-stored data tied to it (saved locations, notifications, and the optional web wallet).
