If you want us to delete some or all server-stored data associated with your RootRecord use (without requiring you to delete your account), use the process below.

How to request deletion

  1. Email us at root@rootrecord.info.
  2. Include:
    • The email address you use with RootRecord (your account email).
    • Which product(s) (for example: Root Record Weather Manager, RootRecord Business Manager, rootrecord.info portal, Solana tools).
    • What you want deleted (everything server-stored, or specific categories below).
  3. We may reply to verify you control the account email before completing deletion.

What we delete (server-stored)

Depending on your request and what features you used, deletion may include:

  • Account portal data: server-side account profile rows used to show your plan status in the web portal.
  • Weather Manager synced data: saved locations, notification registration tokens, and cached weather bundles stored on our servers.
  • Web wallet data (optional): if you created a RootRecord web wallet, we delete the associated server-stored encrypted wallet material and public key record.

What we may retain

  • Billing records: payment provider references and billing history needed for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal compliance.
  • Operational logs: limited server logs may persist for a short period for reliability and security operations.

Timing and retention

  • Processing time: we aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.
  • Backups: deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period, then is overwritten as backups rotate (typically within 30 days).

Delete your entire account instead

If you prefer to delete your full RootRecord account, you can do that from Account when signed in.
